Where will great music, food, games, artists and the community intersect? At INTERSECTION, an end-of-summer party presented by One South Euclid (OSE) and the City of South Euclid.
“INTERSECTION is a chance for South Euclid to highlight its downtown district and a chance for the community to come together, socialize and have some fun,” says Annette Iwamoto, Executive Director of One South Euclid. “It’s also an opportunity for those outside South Euclid to experience our thriving community.”
The festivities will take place at the Rushton Road Municipal Lot (4477 Rushton Road) from
5 - 8 p.m. on Friday, September 10 near the intersection of South Green and Rushton Roads. The band, Billy Likes Soda, is slated to appear and food and beverages will be available onsite for purchase from The 4 Bistro and Wine Bar, Fawaky Burst, and TropicalSno CLE - three businesses in downtown South Euclid. Attendees can also grab a cold one at the Beer garden.
In addition to food, drinks and conversation, guests can play giant games and gain inspiration observing artists create murals whose purpose is to uplift urban spaces. The latter activity is a collaboration between the City of South Euclid and Ingenuity Cleveland.
At 8 p.m., INTERSECTION ends, but the AfterParty begins across the street at the 4 Bistro and Wine bar (4450 Mayfield Road) until 11 p.m. All singers or aspiring singers are invited to participate in a karaoke contest. A prize of $500 will be awarded to the winner.
Free parking will be available in a portion of the Rushton Road Municipal Lot (enter on Dean Drive). There also will be on-street parking on Rushton Road.
