Celebrating the People and Places That Make Our City Shine
The Best of South Euclid Awards are part of our annual Shop Local initiative, honoring the restaurants, retailers, salons, and service providers that make our community vibrant. By recognizing your favorite local spots, you’re helping to shine a spotlight on the small businesses that keep South Euclid thriving.
This community-driven contest is all about showing love to the places that make South Euclid special. Winners are chosen entirely by the community through online votes, and announced on November 29, Small Business Saturday—a perfect way to kick off the holiday season by shopping local. “Best” winners will receive a framed certificate, a feature across our social media platforms, and recognition on our website. Second- and third-place winners will be recognized on our website and highlighted through supporting social media posts.

Why it Matters
By recognizing and celebrating our local favorites, we encourage residents to shop, dine, and support locally owned businesses, which strengthens our community.
Eligibility

Businesses must be located within the City of South Euclid, Ohio.

Any resident, customer, or supporter may submit a nomination or vote.

One South Euclid board members and staff may participate in nominations and voting but cannot influence results.
Businesses must be in good standing with the City of South Euclid (active, open, and compliant with local regulations).

General Rules

This is a community recognition program, not a formal competition or monetary award.

Results are based solely on verified community engagement (comments, likes, and poll data).

One South Euclid reserves the right to:

Disqualify any nomination that is inappropriate, inaccurate, or outside South Euclid.

Verify eligibility and tally votes fairly.

Make final decisions regarding ties or disputes.

Participation implies consent for One South Euclid to use nominee names, photos, and social media content for promotional purposes.
How it Works
Phase 1: Voting

Voting begins Nov. 1.

Voting ends Nov. 24.

Each person may vote once per category.
Phase 2: Winners
Winners will be announced on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 29, on Facebook and Instagram.
Winners receive a digital badge and community spotlight post on social media.
