STOREFRONT RENOVATION GRANTS

 

We partner with the City of South Euclid to offer a Storefront Renovation Program for 2024. This program provides eligible commercial property owners a matching grant of up to $50,000 for transformational exterior renovations. 

• All exterior improvements must be visible from the street and must enhance the curb appeal of the property. 

• Only property owners are eligible to apply. 

• Applications are due by March 5, 2024 at 5 PM (EST). 

• Applications will reopen in January 2025.

• Applicants who are recommended for funding will be notified by mid March. All projects must be completed by June 30, 2025. 

• Please include as much detailed information as possible to increase the likelihood the project is selected for funding. 

• Property owners will enter into a grant agreement with One South Euclid. One South Euclid will pay the contractor the amount of the grant award upon satisfactory completion of the project. 

• The project must obtain all City approvals prior to work commencing. 

• Satisfactory project completion also includes any necessary building inspections and sign off from the Building Department prior to any grant funds being paid out. 

• City staff will guide the property owner through the approval process once the project has been selected for funding.
