Exterior Home Repair

Program Overview
The Exterior Home Repair Program assists South Euclid residents of owner-occupied homes with financial support for select exterior home repairs. One South Euclid may fund up to 50% of a project's cost, at its discretion. Residents may apply for only on project per year.
Eligible Projects
The program covers the following types of exterior home repairs:
- Driveway replacement
- Garage replacement
- House painting
- Roof replacement
- Sidewalk replacement
- Siding replacement
- Step unit replacement
- Tree removal
To Apply
Click the button below to complete an application. Applications open on Jan. 21, 2025 and close on March 1 at 12 a.m., 2025 (EST). Late applications will not be considered for funding.
Application Details
Applicants must provide the following:
- A description of the proposed repair
- An expected timeline for project completion
- Information demonstrating financial need (While there is no income limit for eligibility, applicants will have the opportunity to explain why assistance is required to complete the project.)
Next Steps
Applicants may be contacted in March to submit:
- Estimates from contractors
- Proof of income.
Limited Funding
Final decisions are expected to be made in May. Approved projects must be completed by December 31, 2025. As in previous years, funding is limited. Therefore, not all applicants are guaranteed a grant.

Senior
Landscaping
Were you awarded a Senior Landscaping grant? Let us know how it made difference in your life.
Program Purpose
The purpose of the Senior Landscaping Program is to assist South Euclid's senior residents age in place by providing funds to help pay for grass cutting and snow removal.
Eligibility Requirements
-
Be age 65 or older, and
-
Be a resident of South Euclid, and
-
No longer be able to regularly cut their grass or shovel snow and lack someone available to do the work for them (such as a family member or neighbor), and
-
Lack the financial means to afford these services.

Call 216-396-9392 to apply. Applications open on January 21 and close on March 1 at 12 a.m., 2025. Late applications will not be considered for funding.
Limited Funding
As in previous years, there may be more applicants than available funds. Therefore, not all applicants are guaranteed a grant.
