Applicants will be asked to describe the proposed repair, an expected timeline for completion, and demonstrate financial need. Please note that although there is not an income limit to determine eligibility, you will have the opportunity to provide information on why assistance is needed to complete the proposed project.
Applicants may be contacted in March to submit estimates from contractors and proof of income. Final decisions are expected to be made in May and projects must be completed by December 31, 2024. As in previous years, we anticipate that there may be more applicants than available funds.

Were you awarded a Senior Landscaping grant? Let us know how it made difference in your life.
Senior
Landscaping
The purpose of the Senior Landscaping Program is to help the city’s senior residents age in place. To be eligible for the program, the applicant must:
-
Be age 65 or older, and
-
Be a resident of South Euclid, and
-
No longer be able to regularly cut their grass and shovel snow or have someone available to do the work for them (such as a family member or neighbor), and
-
Lack the financial means for such services.
One South Euclid partners with the Community Partnership on Aging (CPA) to facilitate the application process for senior landscaping grants. CPA’s mission is to promote independence, a healthy lifestyle, community involvement, opportunities for personal growth, and provide support for family caregivers. CPA works directly with senior residents to help them apply for the grants.
Those who are interested and eligible should call 216-396-9392 to get on the call list before February 19 to ensure their application can be completed by CPA prior to the March 1 deadline. Applications will reopen January 2025.
As in previous years, there may be more applicants than available funds. Therefore, it is possible that not every applicant will be awarded a grant.
