  • Siding replacement

  • Step unit replacement

  • Tree removal

To apply, click the button below. The application deadline is March 4 at 12:00 AM, 2022 (EST). Applicants will be asked to describe the proposed repair, an expected timeline for completion, and demonstrate financial need. Please note that although there is not an income limit to determine eligibility,  you will have the opportunity to provide information on why assistance is needed to complete the proposed project. Applicants may be contacted in March to submit estimates from contractors and proof of income. Final decisions are expected to be made by early May and projects must be completed by December 31, 2022.

As in previous years, there may be more applicants than available funds. Therefore, it is possible that not every applicant will be awarded a grant.

We are no longer accepting applications for 2022.

Note: An application can be mailed to you, if necessary. Please call 216-316-5373 and leave a message with your name, address, phone number and what type of project you're applying for.

Senior landscaping grants

The purpose of the Senior Landscaping Program is to help the city’s senior residents age in place. To be eligible for the program, the applicant must be over the age of 65, a resident of South Euclid, and no longer able to regularly cut their grass and shovel snow or have someone available to do the work for them (such as a family member or neighbor). Eligible senior citizens can apply for grass cutting services, snow plowing services, or both services for the 2022 grass cutting season and 2022-23 snow plow season.

As in past years, One South Euclid is continuing its partnership with the Community Partnership on Aging (CPA) to facilitate the application process for the program. CPA’s mission is to promote independence, a healthy lifestyle, community involvement, and opportunities for personal growth for older adults, as well as support for family caregivers.

Residents work directly with CPA to apply to the program. Those who are interested and eligible to apply should contact Annette at 216-316-5373 before February 23, 2022 to ensure their application can be completed by CPA prior to the March 4 deadline.

As in previous years, there may be more applicants than available funds. Therefore, it is possible that not every applicant will be awarded a grant.

We are no longer accepting applications for grass cutting in 2022 or the 2022-23 snowplowing season.
